Stopping calls and texts is separate from opting out of information sales. To stop communications from a specific company, contact that company directly and request placement on its internal do-not-contact list. Opting out of sales prevents new companies from obtaining your information but does not stop companies that already have your information from contacting you. To fully stop communications, you must both opt out of future sales and contact existing callers directly.
